Borgo Bastia Creti
A Private Umbrian Hamlet where History, Privacy, and Timeless Countryside Living come Together
Borgo Bastia Creti is a beautifully restored medieval hamlet set in the hills of Umbria, offering the rare experience of living inside a private Italian village. With five independent stone houses and two suites housed in the ancient chapel, the borgo combines historic charm with absolute privacy, making it an exceptional setting for families, retreats, weddings, and elegant celebrations.

Borgo Bastia Creti is an exclusive medieval hamlet
that has been meticulously restored to preserve its original character while offering the comfort and privacy of a contemporary countryside retreat. Set in a panoramic position between cypress-lined hills and olive groves, the borgo feels like stepping into a small private village, where ancient stone walls, narrow pathways, and historic architecture create an authentic sense of place.
The estate is composed of five independent villas and two suites located inside the former chapel, allowing large groups to stay together while maintaining complete privacy between each accommodation. This layout makes the property exceptionally well-suited for weddings, celebrations, family gatherings, retreats, and events, offering both intimacy and the freedom of spacious outdoor living.
The origins of Bastia Creti date back to the medieval period, when it served as a small fortified settlement along the trade routes between Tuscany and Umbria. Today, its careful restoration highlights the beauty of its stone structures, vaulted ceilings, and original architectural details, while blending them with understated contemporary touches.
